Which programming language would overtake Python?

The following article asserts that there are at least 3 counterparts that have high chance of development and popularity.

Furthermore, for beginners in Data Science it is not always known some disadvantages of python. For instance, that is reflected in the huge number of online resources and in the number of StackOverflow tags.
